El Festival Internacional de Curtmetratges i Animaci\u00f3 de Barcelona, conegut com a Mecal<\/a>, torna del 29 de juny al 9 de juliol al Poblenou. La 25a edici\u00f3 ha rebut m\u00e9s de 5.000 curtmetratges de 110 pa\u00efsos diferents, dels quals nom\u00e9s n’han estat seleccionats al voltant de 300 que competiran per endur-se els premis al millor curtmetratge en diferents categories: animaci\u00f3, ficci\u00f3, documental. Tamb\u00e9 hi haur\u00e0 premis especials del jurat i del p\u00fablic.<\/p>\n

Aquests curts abasten g\u00e8neres molt diferents, des de cl\u00e0ssics de com\u00e8dia, terror i ci\u00e8ncia-ficci\u00f3 fins a temes m\u00e9s socials, feminisme i LGTBIQ+ que han estat premiats a festivals internacionals com Cannes, Biennale di Venezia, Berlinale, entre d’altres.<\/p>\n

Enguany, el festival compta amb dos venues partners, Hotel Acta Voraport<\/a> i Museu Can Framis<\/a>, on tornaran les projeccions a l’aire lliure, recuperant aix\u00ed l’ess\u00e8ncia original del festival.<\/p>\n

A m\u00e9s, tamb\u00e9 s’organitzen activitats paral\u00b7leles com tallers, masterclasses i confer\u00e8ncies d’animaci\u00f3, creativitat, coaching de pitching, concept art, crowdfunding, intel\u00b7lig\u00e8ncia artificial\u2026 per a estudiants d’animaci\u00f3 i per al p\u00fablic en general. Aix\u00ed mateix, cada nit abans de les projeccions, de 19 h a 21.15 h, gaudeix de sessions musicals de la m\u00e0 de DJ’s reconeguts al pati del Museu Can Framis.
