Theater: Burning Summer (1947)

In 1947, in the gray and dark post-war Barcelona, Elena, a widow, is the lover of Eduard, a married man, older than her. She lives with her girl Caterina, a simple woman, and her daughter Eva, a pretty young woman in love with a boy, Pere, a little older than her, who secretly flirts with political movements opposed to the regime. Together they survive in a city ruled by fear and misery.
