The installation was inaugurated the 5th of September at 7pm with the presence of social and cultural entities of Poblenou.
The artwork Mirem-nos by the Photographer Albert Masias, winner of the Gente de Barrio scholarship, promoted by the Fundació Carulla, is conformed by ten big format photographies that perform a visual dialogue on the social and human fabric of Poblenou.
The objective of the project, carried out in partnership with the Associació de Veïns i Veïnes del Poblenou and the Fundació Photographic Social Vision, is to highlight the richness of Poblenou’s cultural and social fabric and to inaugurate the foundation’s new cultural facility in the neighbourhood.
Scholarships to showcase the Poblenou neighbourhood
The Fundació Carulla has launched the first edition of the Gente del barrio scholarships for communal artistic creation in Poblenou, Barcelona. The goal is to promote the creation and exhibition of two cultural projects involving the residents of Poblenou, contributing to social cohesion in the neighbourhood through culture and the arts.
