HAUS, Espai d’Art i Pràctiques Contemporànies (BAU)

BAR project is an initiative in movement that promotes transdisciplinary dialogue, hospitality, collaboration and exchange between art and society. Since November 2023, BAR project is curating HAUS, Espai d’Art i Pràctiques Contemporànies (BAU). This new exhibition space allows it to continue promoting transnational dialogue between local and international artistic scenes in the Poblenou district through discursive, study, residency and exhibition programs.

During Open Night you can visit ”Speechless”, the new personal exhibition of the duo Claire Fontaine, curated by Andrea Rodriguez Novoa and Veronica Valentini. The Italian-British duo has been present at the last Manifesta 15 and Venice Biennale. The works presented, among which a new production, denounce censorship and reflect hopelessness in contexts of conflict, inviting a reflection on ethics in art and responsibility towards history.
