Design Hub offers a variety of permanent exhibitions and two temporary showcases for all audiences, ranging from the history of decorative arts in Catalonia, the functionality of objects and their symbolism, to the implications of fashion on the human body.

This open call by A-FAD invites artists to imagine possible futures for contemporary jewelry through reuse, biomaterial creation, and the reinterpretation of this year’s pieces.

Through a broad and diverse selection, it showcases notable examples of Catalan painting from the mid-20th century to the present, featuring works by prominent artists such as Antoni Clavé, Amèlia Riera, Niebla, Vilató, Jo Milne, Jordi Fulla, Mar Arza, Mario Pasqualotto, and Sabine Finkenauer.

Piramidón, Centre d’Art Contemporani obre les portes dels seus tallers per a AR-DE. El divendres 4 d’octubre a les 17 h podràs visitar els tallers de dos artistes i conèixer els espais de creació de primera mà. En aquesta edició d'AR-DE presenta les exposicions de Rosanna Casano, amb una proposta d'obres abstractes on predominen les formes geomètriques i els patrons, recordant en moltes ocasions, a formes arquitectòniques.  I de Pepe Castellanos, que en el seu estil rebutja l'hiperrealisme a favor d'una interpretació subjectiva i íntima d'escenes quotidianes. BAR project és una iniciativa curatorial en moviment que promou el diàleg transdisciplinari, l’hospitalitat, la col·laboració i l’intercanvi entre l’art i la societat. Des de novembre de 2023, BAR project comissaria HAUS, Espai d'Art i Pràctiques Contemporànie (BAU). Aquest nou espai expositiu li permet continuar promovent el diàleg transnacional entre les escenes artístiques locals i internacionals del barri de Poblenou a través de programes discursius, d’estudi, de residència i d’exhibició. Per a aquesta edició de AR-DE inauguren”Speechless”, la nova exposició personal del duo Claire Fontaine, comissariada per Andrea Rodriguez Novoa i Veronica Valentini. El duo italo-britànic ha estat presento present en les últimes Manifesta 15 i Biennal de Venècia. Les obres presentades, entre les quals una nova producció, denuncien la censura i reflecteixen la desesperança en contextos de conflicte, convidant a una reflexió sobre l’ètica en l’art i la responsabilitat enfront de la història. A més, hi haurà visites guiades amb l’artista i comissàries de l’exposició durant la inauguració.
