Celebrate the Night of Museums at the Creative District

This Saturday, May 17, the Night of Museums returns. Museums will open their doors from 7:00 pm to 1:00 am, allowing visitors to explore exhibitions and enjoy the experience of visiting a museum at night for free. Additionally, some museums have prepared a series of activities for this day.

The Museu de la música has organized a series of concerts. At 8:00 pm, Batall with Núria Andorra, Fred Dirth, and Llorenç Barber will perform at the Foyer of L’Auditori. At 10:30 pm, there will be a concert by the museum’s resident gamelan group: Gamelan Barasvara. Visitors can also explore the permanent and temporary exhibitions.

Can Framis will open its doors, offering access to the permanent exhibitions of the Can Framis Museum in Poblenou, presenting under the title Monologue, Dialogue, and Concept, along with the temporary exhibition by Carles Gabarró The Fragility of Painting in the Era of “Fast Food”.

At Museu Terra, you can explore the history of plastic in Plastic. Brilliant or Perverse? and reflect on how we use it. Guided visits will take place at these times: 7:30 pm | 8:30 pm | 9:30 pm | 10:30 pm.

The Disseny Hub will open its doors, and you can visit the permanent and temporary exhibitions, including the new permanent exhibition Matter Matters, which reflects on the major challenges of current and future design in a critical moment due to the scarcity of raw materials.
