This Saturday, May 24, La Plataforma presents the Digital Art Workshop led by Sònia Toneu at the Hotel INNSiDE Barcelona Apolo.

In this workshop, you’ll discover tools that turn images into true works of art. Bring your laptop, tablet, or phone and experiment live with endless creative combinations.

The activity is part of the Variations exhibition, which explores the fusion of digital and pictorial media. Starting from an initial digital image, the project investigates the concept of sequence across various supports and techniques, creating unique results with each combination.

Sònia Toneu (Aiguaviva, 1988) studied Visual Arts and Design at Escola Massana in Barcelona and has trained in Art History, Graphic Design, and Digital Art. Her artistic research focuses on abstraction, exploring painting, installation, and digital media to propose alternative realities to those we perceive. Passionate about the visual richness and contrasts offered by pictorial, graphic, and digital tools, she has fluidly navigated between traditional and digital media since the beginning of her career.
