Th!nk Tank on the impact of Design in society at LCI Barcelona

The second session of the 2025 cycle of the Th!nk Tank promoted by the Design Institute of Spain (D!OS) in collaboration with LCI Barcelona University is here. Thursday, October 9th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at LCI Barcelona.

The Th!nk Tank D!OS is a series of three meetings that address topics related to Design and its impact on organizations and society. The aim is to generate an open dialogue with companies and institutions that participate in and lead change through the lens of Design.

In a world where systemic challenges and the urgency of sustainability demand new ways of thinking and acting, the second meeting of the Th!nk Tank on Design Culture and the Post-Growth challenge presents itself as a unique space to explore how generational diversity can act as an incentive and strategic driver for organizational transformation.

Under the concept of a kaleidoscope of generations, inspired by the multiplicity of perspectives generated when turning this optical instrument, we propose a dialogue that fuses the visions of different generations, creating innovative patterns to build a simpler and more sustainable future.

This approach invites us to multiply possibilities by integrating the richness of experiences and knowledge from each generational cohort, just as the mirrors of a kaleidoscope reflect unique and unrepeatable images, creating an unexpected and fascinating view.

This second session will be led by Lluís Carbonell, a consultant expert in organizational transformation, sustainability and innovation, and head of the Innovation and Knowledge Area at the Design Institute of Spain (D!OS), together with experts in design, trends, and neuroarchitecture Ana Garcia, Gema Gilgado, and Alessandro Manetti from LCI Barcelona.

To close the day, there will be a networking aperitif to continue delving into and sharing reflections and impressions from the session.

In this second session of Th!nk Tank, the Design Protectors will be present: GRUPO COSENTINO, EDRA, KÖLNMESSE, JORI ARMENGOL, and TEAM ON, along with major business leaders from various industrial and service sectors, as well as academic and institutional representatives.
