La Plataforma gallery opens on March 26 the solo exhibition Pasiones internas by Ukrainian multidisciplinary artist Nina Murashkina. Currently based in Spain, Murashkina presents a body of work that moves between painting and ceramics. The exhibition will be on view until April 17 and will also be part of the AR-DE circuit program from March 27 to 29.
In Pasiones internas, the artist explores people’s inner lives, focusing on the desires, fears, and emotions that define us. She understands the human body as an apparently stable container that conceals a complex emotional world. This idea is reflected both in her ceramic pieces, with forms that evoke the body, and in her paintings, which develop psychologically driven narratives. Her works often begin with imagined figures that possess their own emotional identity, combining references to mythology with personal experiences through a visual language close to surrealism.
Through what she calls “magical feminism,” Murashkina reinterprets reality using figures that represent different facets of femininity, such as fragility and strength, or innocence and sensuality. Her style, influenced by Ukrainian naïve art and ancient mythology, shapes a symbolic universe of her own. The exhibition invites viewers to enter this inner world, where emotion and imagination come together to create intimate narratives.
The exhibition opens on March 26 at 7 pm and will run until April 30.
