Don’t miss out on everything happening at DHub this April

This April, DHub is looking forward to seeing you with an agenda packed with proposals: from the vanguard of digital design to the revival of traditional craftsmanship.

OFFF Barcelona 2026:

OFFF Barcelona is the leading festival for creativity, art, and digital design. In 2026, the festival will celebrate its 26th edition as an international benchmark in the exploration of the creative future, bringing together talent from all over the world. The program includes conferences, masterclasses, and workshops, as well as a mapping projection on the DHub facade and a design market open to the public. It is open to all audiences.

Tècniques del ferro: Del treball artesanal a la producció industrial:

The exhibition “Iron Techniques: From Craftsmanship to Industrial Production” analyzes iron as a key material in technological, industrial, and cultural development, while also highlighting its environmental impact. It is part of Matter Matters: Designing with the World and continues the reflection on the relationship between matter, technique, and transformation. The exhibition showcases the evolution of ironworking techniques, from traditional forging to industrial processes, through objects, tools, and documents. The dialogue between historical and contemporary pieces demonstrates the continuity and adaptation of this knowledge over time. This is a temporary exhibition, open until August 30, 2026, with free admission.

  • Access: Free entry. Until August 30th.

  • Hours: Monday afternoon and Tuesday to Sunday all day (9 am to 9 pm).

Dissenys d’arquitectes: Mirades històriques i contemporànies des de Barcelona:

A series of 8 conferences and dialogues centered on the design work produced by prominent figures in Barcelona’s architecture from the late 19th century to the present. The cycle “Architects’ Designs: Historical and Contemporary Perspectives from Barcelona” investigates the design output of key architects. Their presence in the design world has remained constant, even after the progressive professionalization of industrial design in Barcelona during the 1960s. Various architects have played, and continue to play, a significant role in interior, furniture, and product design for both domestic and public spaces. The 16 protagonists of this series testify to the high conceptual and formal level achieved by Barcelona design throughout this period, from both historical and contemporary perspectives.
