NEW’26 – The Festival of New Ideas: three days to discover the talent of a new generation of designers at LCI.

It feels like we have worn out the word “new”. Everything is new: a collection, an app, a series… By constantly saying that everything is new, nothing feels truly new anymore.

NEW’26 – The Festival of New Ideas reclaims a different kind of “new”: the kind of ideas that wake you up in the middle of the night, of unprecedented ways to shape a vision or bring a seemingly impossible project to life. That of a whole generation launching themselves into the world with a suitcase full of ideas that no one has seen yet.

For three days, from June 29th to July 1st, students from the Bachelor’s Degrees in Fashion, Graphic, and Interior Design will present the final projects of their years of training at LCI Barcelona. Here is the full programme:

Monday, June 29th

• 17:00 h – Opening of the final projects exhibition, located in the Parking Gallery (Floor -2) of the LCI Barcelona campus. The event, which is free to attend with prior registration via this link, includes the awards ceremony for the best projects in Graphic Design and Interior Design.

• 19:00 h – Fashion show by the Fashion Design students at the campus square. Access to the event, where one look from each collection will be showcased, is by invitation only, and it can be followed live on LCI’s Instagram. The awards for the best proposals will be presented at the end of the runway show.

Tuesday, June 30th (Parking Gallery > sign up here)

• 10:00 to 21:00 h – Throughout the day, Graphic Design students will present their projects, alongside three fashion shows from the Fashion Design Degree.
