Wassabi Stereo Design shapes the new digital identity of Palo Alto

Palo Alto has always been one of Barcelona’s great creative and cultural hubs. A venue where ideas, innovative companies, events, and green corners steeped in history all come together. But how do you transfer such a vibrant and diverse ecosystem into the digital realm? The answer lies in its new website, a project that updates the foundation’s online presence to align it with its true identity.

The challenge of organizing this cultural mosaic was taken on by Wassabi Stereo Design. The main goal of the collaboration was clear from the start: the venue needed a digital update that faithfully reflected its daily activity, as well as a tool that was both practical and adaptable over time. The objective was to create a clearer, more flexible, and easy-to-manage platform, capable of responding to the diversity of companies, spaces, activities, and events that coexist within the venue.

Clean layouts and intuitive navigation

To achieve this, Wassabi Stereo Design began by restructuring the content architecture from scratch. The project’s major challenge was organizational: sorting through a considerable volume of information for very different audiences (from casual visitors to resident companies) and ensuring the browsing experience was completely simple and intuitive for everyone.

The solution was to focus on a clean, contemporary, and highly visual approach. With this formula, the website gives full graphic prominence to the images of the spaces themselves and the foundation’s activities, turning the screen into a faithful reflection of Palo Alto’s industrial and green atmosphere.

A website built for the future

Beyond aesthetics, the update was designed with a long-term vision. The new architecture allows the platform to grow organically as the foundation’s projects evolve. According to the studio, the final result is a robust, future-proof digital tool, capable of transforming without ever losing the unique essence and identity that defines Palo Alto.
