September of Design and Creativity at DHub

Disseny Hub Barcelona continues into September with a programme that brings together design, architecture and creativity in different formats. The end of summer is always a good opportunity to head to Glòries to visit exhibitions and take part in activities that bring design culture into dialogue with the city, its history and its transformations.

Until 20 September, DHub is hosting the FAD Architecture and Interior Design Awards 2026 exhibition, bringing together the finalist projects from this year’s edition. It is an opportunity to discover some of the proposals that are shaping the current architecture and interior design scene before the exhibition comes to an end.

On 17 September, the museum’s programme will also include the Enjoia’t Awards 2026 exhibition, showcasing 30 selected pieces of contemporary jewellery and exploring new ways of approaching objects, the body and materials. The exhibition will be open to visitors until 29 November.

The programme also invites visitors to discover the DHub collection exhibitions through its free guided tours, an opportunity to explore their content in greater depth and learn about the different perspectives that run through its collections and exhibitions. These include Matter Matters. Designing with the World, Do You Design or Do You Work? The New Visual Communication (1980–2003), The Dressed Body. Silhouettes and Fashion (1550–2015) and Common Objects. Local Stories, Global Debates.

On September 22, the Architects’ Designs. Historical and Contemporary Perspectives from Barcelona series will dedicate a new session to Enric Tous and Josep Maria Fargas + Alberto Lievore. The event will review the careers of Tous i Fargas and the work of Lievore, focusing on the connections between architecture, interior design, and product design.

With this programme, Disseny Hub Barcelona begins the new season as a space for gathering and reflection around design. Exhibitions, visits, and events offer an opportunity to explore different ways of understanding creativity and to discover how design continues to engage with our surroundings and with changes in society.
