The Barcelona Design Museum is the city’s museum of object arts and design, which brings together in a single space the collections of product, fashion and graphic design, and the historical collections of decorative arts, textile and clothing arts and graphic arts.

The Museum offers five permanent exhibitions with objects spanning from the 4th century BC to the present day, and temporary exhibitions and activities that critically reflect on the contribution of design to 21st century society:

• Common Objects. Local Histories, Global Debates
• Do you design or do you work? The new visual communication. 1980-2003
• Modernism, towards the culture of design
• Extraordinary! Collections of decorative arts (3rd-19th centuries)
• The clothed body. Silhouettes and fashion (1550-2015)

Exhibition:

• Fornas. The image of Catalonia in the 1960s
