DESCRIPTION:Exhibition dedicated to the jeweller Enric Majoral. \nBorn in Sabadell in 1949\, Enric Majoral is one of the key names in contemporary Catalan jewellery. The jeweller’s close relationship with Formentera has marked his creations\, which he himself defines as “essence of Formentera”. Mayoral has delved into the world of traditional crafts\, drawing inspiration from archaic forms and using the quintessential jewellery materials\, gold and silver\, full of symbolism and multiple meanings. A member of the FAD\, he was president of Orfebres FAD from 1992 to 1997. In 2007 he received the National Crafts Prize from the Ministry of Industry. \nThe exhibition is organised by the Museu del Disseny in collaboration with the A-FAD. \nCurator \nMaya Cruces

The government applies increasingly repressive and useless restrictions to try to stop the contagion. \nThe lack of resources and the extreme conditions will make people struggle to survive but only the most immoral will succeed.

DESCRIPTION:The work Viatge d’hivern\, inspired by Franz Schubert’s Winterreise song cycles\, is a journey that Elfriede Jelinek proposes to us through her own experiences\, both artistic and intimate: sexuality mediated by the internet\, the perversion of public opinion \, the cult of youth\, the presence of latent fascism\, the inexorable passage of time\, the love-hate towards her mother\, the dementia and abandonment of her father and the self-criticism of herself as an artist. \nAwarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2004\, the author presents us with a research work where language\, music and movement burst onto the scene like a runaway river\, perverting Schubert\, perverting Jelinek\, dragging us through “the residual waters of our own lives. ” just as she does\, in a piece with dramatic brushstrokes\, a lot of irony and a certain despair.

DESCRIPTION:Talaré a los hombres de sobre la faz de la tierra relates emotional and sexual violence with violence against the environment\, comparing the “extractivism of the resources of the unconscious and of subjectivity\, language\, desire\, imagination\, affection” (Suely Rolnik) with the extractivism of natural resources. \nA preteen wanders away from her family at a barbecue to read under a tree. With this act\, she begins a rite of passage\, and the viacrucis of a millennial woman\, as a youngest daughter\, doctoral student and sex worker. With an autofictional base\, the work deals with a failed sexual-affective education and experiences that continue in the shadow of taboo. The personal experience is transcended thanks to the dialogue with currents that have been essential to reactivate critical thinking today: feminism and ecology. Two great collective and salvific stories opposed to the catastrophic premonition.
