DESCRIPTION:Exhibition focusing on wood as a key material at the service of human cultural evolution\, presenting a broad historical overview leading right up to the present day\, with a large section dedicated to current applications of wood (design applied to construction\, cars\, aeronautics\, textiles\, acoustics\, health\, energy and so on)\, that help to support the planet’s sustainability and which serve as a foundation of the circular bioeconomy. \nConsidered from the design perspective\, the exhibition highlights the wooden objects that have represented a turning point in human life from time immemorial to the 21st century. After a period when wood was replaced by other materials in various areas\, the last few decades have seen a recovery and strengthening of design and architecture in wood as a key tool for maintaining quality of life on the planet and halting the current environmental crisis. \nThe exhibition is part of the programme for the annual conference of the European Forest Institute\, which designated Barcelona as European Forest Capital 2022.

DESCRIPTION:Synopsis\nIn an institution that will have to be discovered from an imaginary state\, not near or far from our lands\, the forced residents prepare as an occupational activity a theater performance that\, inevitably\, will talk about them and their country: a more or less corrupt monarchy\, with a liberal appearance that\, in addition to the economic\, military and religious powers\, like all its life\, will know how to find in the judiciary the ultimate justification of its interested and arbitrary decisions. With this farce in three acts\, between the Ubu of Jarry\, the absurd humor of Ionesco\, the brothers Marx and Monty Python\, the journalist and theater critic Santi Fondevila is presented as a dramatic author. A first feature with a cast and a luxury direction.

DESCRIPTION:Synopsis\nTravy is a tribute to the same family Pla-Solina (artistic name “la Família Travy”) and a (des)encounter between two theatrical currents; on the one hand\, the clown\, folk and popular theater. On the other\, post-dramatic and meta-theatrical forms. It exposes two generations and two vital moments; those who already see the end of the road without fear and those who see the beginning of it with panic. \nA family that has had theater as a way of being and living. A game between life and theater; lies and truth. \nTwo old clowns with little grace. Two children lost in themselves\, the transgression of art and success. A family of minstrels who understand each other more by putting on masks than by looking each other in the eye. Engaged in creating a show. The latest show? \nThis show is part of the cycle La família (or la família?)\, a proposal to reflect on the concept of the family from different perspectives: imaginaries\, relationships\, vulnerabilities\, social structures\, the working world\, senses\, emotions… \n
