DESCRIPTION:Ohad Meyuhas is an architect and the head of innovation labs and CSR operation at the 3D printing company Stratasys\, Inc. In his previous position as the director for academic research he shaped and manage products\, created the first global 3D printing curriculum that is implemented in universities worldwide and the first Certification for additive manufacturing.\nHe is presently a lecturer at IDC Media School focused on tangible UX\, UI with digital fabrication and programming. And lecturer for parametric design and fabrication at Shenkar College of Engineering\, Design\, and Art.\nOhas established and runs the Israeli FabLab network and is an instructor at the global Fab Academy Diploma course for Digital Fabrication since 2011.\nHis research projects include exploring the relationship between digital fabrication\, education\, and social impact\, and check how those new technologies can shape our daily life and the way we manufacture today as well as the the relation between personal fabrication\, collective composition\, and the factories of tomorrow. \nOnline

DESCRIPTION:Last chance to get to know first-hand the Bachelor of Fine Arts at BAU. \nOn Friday 16 September at 16:00 BAU will offer a face-to-face information session on the degree\, which will start to be taught in October 2022\, and for which places are still available. \nRemember that the last phase of university pre-registration will take place on September 20 and 21. \nThe session\, in which detailed information will be provided on the study plan\, the program\, professional opportunities and all relevant aspects of the Fine Arts Degree\, will be led by Carla Boserman\, coordinator of the Art department and teacher at the center . \nAfter the presentation\, guided tours of the campus infrastructure\, classrooms and workshops will be offered. \nTo attend\, prior registration is essential (no limit of companions).

DESCRIPTION:Exhibition dedicated to the jeweller Enric Majoral. \nBorn in Sabadell in 1949\, Enric Majoral is one of the key names in contemporary Catalan jewellery. The jeweller’s close relationship with Formentera has marked his creations\, which he himself defines as “essence of Formentera”. Mayoral has delved into the world of traditional crafts\, drawing inspiration from archaic forms and using the quintessential jewellery materials\, gold and silver\, full of symbolism and multiple meanings. A member of the FAD\, he was president of Orfebres FAD from 1992 to 1997. In 2007 he received the National Crafts Prize from the Ministry of Industry. \nThe exhibition is organised by the Museu del Disseny in collaboration with the A-FAD. \nCurator \nMaya Cruces
