This is the first of three open and participatory dialogue sessions we will hold in the coming months. This season, in the Obrador de Filosofia, we are exploring the theme of expulsion.
We propose to establish a dialogue based on one of the foundational myths of our culture: the first great expulsion of the Judeo-Christian tradition, also shared by Islam and recorded in the Bible—the expulsion of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden, from Paradise. An apple, good and evil, knowledge, and exemplary punishment.
Are we still heirs to that expulsion? Are we also victims? Have we made significant progress since then?
