After the holidays, it’s the perfect time to reconnect with design and return to DHub, which resumes its usual schedule and a program of activities with new dates and proposals.

This September, visits to Casa Bloc return, along with free guided tours of Matter Matters and How to Design a Revolution (included with the entrance ticket). Check the program and don’t miss a thing!


DHub presents its new 3P publication series, a cross-disciplinary project that brings together the Design Library and Archive, the Collections Department, and the Communications Department of the Museu del Disseny-DHub. Each volume of the series is structured around three themes – Project, Product, and Person – to offer a comprehensive view of the museum’s heritage. The first issue is dedicated to Miguel Milá, one of the key figures of design in Spain.

The curators of Miguel Milá. (Pre)industrial Designer, Claudia Oliva and Gonzalo Milá, explain the keys to an exhibition that highlights the career of an undisputed reference in Catalan design. In the interview, they discuss the process of creating the exhibition, the selection of pieces, and reflect on the relevance and influence of Milá’s legacy.


Interact with the Cybersyn operations room, a pioneering cybernetic management project during Salvador Allende’s government in Chile. The guided tour with the Lumbre Migrante Collective shows how design can transform social and economic structures. It is part of the exhibition How to Design a Revolution: The Chilean Road to Design, open until November 16.


After the August break, guided tours of Casa Bloc return, a benchmark of rationalist architecture in Barcelona, featuring the Campo/Contracampo intervention by photographer Manolo Laguillo, active until December. The itinerary From the Workers’ Housing of Bon Pastor to Casa Bloc (1929–1936) also resumes, offering deeper insight into the historical and urban context of the project.
