Discover the initiatives of Poblenou Urban District at the Cruïlla festival

The Cruïlla festival returns this July to celebrate its 15th edition, strengthening its connection with Barcelona. In addition to music and comedy, the festival also highlights art as a key element. With the Cruïlla Arts program, the festival will become a showcase for the most innovative artistic proposals.

Poblenou Urban District will bring several proposals for Cruïlla Arts. One of them will be a light installation in collaboration with Lluria, aiming to highlight the relationship between artists and the neighborhood. It will also feature the artists who participated in the 10th edition of the Windows Art Circuit (WAC), the art circuit that allows the public to experience the entire process of creating mural art on unconventional surfaces. The invited artists are KST, RICE, Juani Bengali, and Antón Seoane.

On the other hand, three artists from previous WAC calls, Sonia Toneu, Aleix Font, and Domini, will create a joint floor mural that will serve as a guide for the routes between the stages. Additionally, Asis Percales and Geco will create a large-scale mural and a collective photo booth, where the public will be able to actively participate.

Another highlight will be the participation of the Pangoico collective with their project “Refranys il·lustrats”. An urban art project that blends popular wisdom with contemporary illustration, creating a unique and enriching visual experience for all attendees.

See you at the Cruïlla Festival from July 9th to 12th!
