BAU Fashion Design students present I’M, the (non) runway

Next Thursday, June 12 at 5:00 PM, the Granada building at BAU, Design University Center, will once again host one of the most anticipated events of the academic year: I’M, the (non) runway. This initiative, led by third-year Fashion Design students, takes the form of an open showroom where emerging talent from the school unfolds with unique style, critical vision, and a strong commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.

In this new edition, up to 81 students from the Fashion and Interior & Spatial Design tracks will join forces to shape a multifaceted event. While the fashion students will present their personal collections—full of identity and conceptual thinking—second-year students from Introduction to Spatial Design Projects II will be responsible for designing the exhibition space, crafting a unique and immersive atmosphere.

The exhibition will not only allow visitors to discover the designers’ work up close, but also to interact directly with them and even purchase some of the pieces on display.

With I’M, the (non) runway, BAU reaffirms its commitment to an education that fosters creativity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a critical, contemporary perspective on design and its role in today’s society.
