La Escocesa opens the registrations for El Consultorio and Convivencia Trenza

La Escocesa has opened registration for two activities taking place in May:

El Consultorio:

El Consultorio is an open space for Barcelona’s artistic community, aimed at visual arts creators who want to delve into their practice, explore work methodologies, share a work-in-progress project, or strengthen dialogue through the perspectives and experiences of fellow artists.

A random selection of submitted projects will be made to form a group of 10 participants, who must commit to attending all sessions, as El Consultorio is built on a circular feedback dynamic.

Dates: Wednesdays, May 7, 14, 21, and 28, and June 11, from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Convivencia Trenza:

La Escocesa and Lumbre Migrante invite artists, researchers, mediators, and curators from the Global South to take part in the Convivencia Trenza, a work and training space within the Trenza mediation program by Lumbre Migrante. This residency is intended for individuals with an ongoing project or research who wish to enrich it through a collective living and working process at La Escocesa.

What’s offered?

• Shared workspaces

• Risography and ceramics workshops

• Collective project clinic

• Guided and independent spaces for project development

• Studio visits to La Escocesa artists

• Final public presentation to share both individual projects and the collective process
