Load Gallery presents Paramnèsia, the new exhibition by local duo Desilence

Load announces the solo exhibition of Desilence, a local duo and pioneer in live visuals since 2005. Their practice explores how light, color, movement, and spatial composition shape perception and emotional experience.

Paramnèsia refers to a memory distortion in which individuals struggle to distinguish between real events and those that are imaginary or dreamed. The piece emerges from a period of dream collection, shaping a surreal narrative that merges reality and imagination. They transform dreams into visual imagery through AI and generative images.

They explore new technologies and dream-like subjectivity as a source of artistic creation, delving into the echoes of the unconscious suspended between memory and oblivion.
