Don’t miss the Afterwork + Meet the Artists with Nathalie Rey and Ece Haskan at La Plataforma

On Wednesday, October 29, the gallery La Plataforma will host a special gathering with artists Nathalie Rey and Ece Haskan, as part of the exhibition The Greatest Show on Earth (and Other Lies). The event will feature a conversation with the artists, who will share their creative processes with the audience, reflect on their artistic approaches, and present the joint project currently on view at the gallery.

During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the artists around themes such as memory, identity, consumption, and the intersection between personal and collective history. The exhibition creates a universe where humor and reflection meet, transforming the space into a kind of surreal and playful fairground.

Nathalie Rey, born in 1976 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye (France), is a multidisciplinary artist based between Barcelona and Istanbul. Her work explores ecological, consumerist, and memory-related discourses through the use of absurdity and poetic layering. Ece Haskan, born in 1997 in Istanbul, is an artist working across painting, sculpture, and installation, addressing topics such as identity, faith, and social narratives through irony and play.

The Afterwork with the artists will take place on Wednesday, October 29, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., at La Plataforma.
