Rosapalo BCN closes its doors after 10 years in the Creative District

Poblenou is full of unique spaces rich in stories, art, and creativity, and Rosapalo BCN is one of the best examples. For the past 10 years, Rosapalo BCN, the studio of visual artist Inés Valls Fortuny, has been a meeting point where the neighborhood’s artistic and creative scene has been bubbling with energy. Since Inés Valls transformed a garage full of potential into her studio, it has witnessed the artist’s rising career, served as a source of inspiration, and stood as a testament to all the success yet to come.

On May 10, coinciding with Poblenou Open Day, we will bid farewell to this iconic artistic space of the Creative District, which is closing its doors but will continue to be part of Poblenou Urban District. Over that weekend, everyone is welcome to visit the exhibition, and to purchase artworks and objects that have been part of the space’s history.

From Poblenou Urban District, we want to pay tribute to this space that has lived many lives — an epicenter of creation and a nest of raw creativity and vitality — and to thank and wish Inés Valls all the best in her new adventures at her new Studio!
