Even though the big day is still weeks away, Palo Market Fest has decided not to wait any longer. As is tradition on the first weekend of every month, the Poblenou venue opens its doors, but this time with a special mission: to be the first to celebrate Sant Jordi. This early edition allows visitors to enjoy the atmosphere of roses and books ahead of the official date, offering a unique outdoor cultural experience.
The main attraction this weekend will be the presence of several publishing houses and florists setting up shop within the venue to showcase their latest releases and creations. This collaboration with the local sector will allow visitors to do their shopping in a relaxed way, avoiding the usual crowds of April 23rd. Additionally, the market will maintain its classic offering of independent design, live music, and street food that defines the festival.
It is the perfect opportunity to stroll through Poblenou, discover new literary titles, and pick out roses in a creative and festive environment. The combination of leisure and culture makes this weekend one of the highlights of the spring season in Barcelona, serving as the perfect kickoff for this month’s celebrations.
