SUMMARY:Travy
DESCRIPTION:Synopsis\nTravy is a tribute to the same family Pla-Solina (artistic name “la Família Travy”) and a (des)encounter between two theatrical currents; on the one hand\, the clown\, folk and popular theater. On the other\, post-dramatic and meta-theatrical forms. It exposes two generations and two vital moments; those who already see the end of the road without fear and those who see the beginning of it with panic. \nA family that has had theater as a way of being and living. A game between life and theater; lies and truth. \nTwo old clowns with little grace. Two children lost in themselves\, the transgression of art and success. A family of minstrels who understand each other more by putting on masks than by looking each other in the eye. Engaged in creating a show. The latest show? \nThis show is part of the cycle La família (or la família?)\, a proposal to reflect on the concept of the family from different perspectives: imaginaries\, relationships\, vulnerabilities\, social structures\, the working world\, senses\, emotions… \n

SUMMARY:La gran farsa (Els jutges no porten botons vermells a la toga)
DESCRIPTION:Synopsis\nIn an institution that will have to be discovered from an imaginary state\, not near or far from our lands\, the forced residents prepare as an occupational activity a theater performance that\, inevitably\, will talk about them and their country: a more or less corrupt monarchy\, with a liberal appearance that\, in addition to the economic\, military and religious powers\, like all its life\, will know how to find in the judiciary the ultimate justification of its interested and arbitrary decisions. With this farce in three acts\, between the Ubu of Jarry\, the absurd humor of Ionesco\, the brothers Marx and Monty Python\, the journalist and theater critic Santi Fondevila is presented as a dramatic author. A first feature with a cast and a luxury direction.

SUMMARY:Com l’estel que no hi és
DESCRIPTION:After meeting in a commission to music and recite a series of poems awarded at the Jocs Florals of Barcelona 2021\, Berta Giraut and Mireia Tejero decide to take advantage of the chemistry between the two creating Paelleta flou\, a performance that gives musical and scenic form to the book of poems Com l’estel that is not written by Berta Giraut herself and published in March 2020\, in full confinement. \nFestival Alcools\, poetry on stage\nPoetry is everything and it’s nothing. It’s a flower in a closed garden\, a spit on the road\, a sweet childhood memory\, a knock on the table\, a scream and a silence. And the Festival Alcools\, since it was born in 2015\, thanks to the impulse of the longed Hermann Bonnín and under the inspiration of Apollinaire\, seeks to stage contemporary poetry with the help of the friends of poets\, musicians\, performers\, artists\, philosophers\, and everyone who thinks that\, today\, the word has value. \nThere will be crises\, wars\, potholes\, altercations\, but there will always be a poet who\, in the midst of chaos\, will raise his voice to exclaim\, like Sylvia Plath\, who is possessed by a cry. ALCOOLS wants to be the shelter of words\, of those who say and those who listen\, a ceremony unique in times\, as always\, uncertain.

SUMMARY:El desig del cor
DESCRIPTION:El desig del cor speaks of a dysfunctional family that awaits the return of their daughter from Australia. During this wait\, the most visceral desires\, fears and drives that distance the father\, mother and aunt from what is expected of them\, according to the roles established by society\, materialize in the dining room at home. The family model has clear laws\, and there are things that fit and things that don’t: wanting your daughter\, being afraid of death or eating yourself\, are some of the things that this family can imagine\, because within the imagination fits everything.\nThe characters will have to exercise extreme control so that their thoughts do not take shape and come true\, and both the comic and surreal scenes and the deepest conflicts go through a censorship mechanism. They make mistakes and start over in a trial and error system: they enter an endless loop\, a loop in which words and actions are repeated over and over again. There is no way out of the loop\, because there is no way out of family traumas.\nThis show is part of the cycle La família (or la família?)\, a proposal to reflect on the concept of family from different perspectives: imaginaries\, relationships\, vulnerabilities\, social structures\, the world of work\, the senses\, emotions …

SUMMARY:[:ca]Teatre: Allò que hi ha després del diumenge[:es]Teatro: Allò que hi ha després del diumenge[:en]Theater: Allò que hi ha després del diumenge[:]
DESCRIPTION:Far from home\, in a coastal landscape\, Joe is dedicated to transporting tourists from one island to another with a Zodiac. On one of these journeys he is struck by lightning that leaves him unconscious\, lying on the boat in the middle of the sea. Of all the possible Sunday afternoons\, he has had this one. But what about after Sunday? It seems that Charon\, with his boat\, still cannot make the transfer to the other side and that\, together\, they have to stay sailing in the immense sea of the mind until the situation is resolved. \nAllò que hi ha després del diumenge is a foggy journey that wants to get closer to the interior of a person trapped in a real world that is fading and an underlying world that is manifesting itself more and more. In an environment where the familiar becomes unknown\, we know the dimension to which our protagonist reaches and we discover how chance modifies our lives.

DESCRIPTION:Talaré a los hombres de sobre la faz de la tierra relates emotional and sexual violence with violence against the environment\, comparing the “extractivism of the resources of the unconscious and of subjectivity\, language\, desire\, imagination\, affection” (Suely Rolnik) with the extractivism of natural resources. \nA preteen wanders away from her family at a barbecue to read under a tree. With this act\, she begins a rite of passage\, and the viacrucis of a millennial woman\, as a youngest daughter\, doctoral student and sex worker. With an autofictional base\, the work deals with a failed sexual-affective education and experiences that continue in the shadow of taboo. The personal experience is transcended thanks to the dialogue with currents that have been essential to reactivate critical thinking today: feminism and ecology. Two great collective and salvific stories opposed to the catastrophic premonition.

SUMMARY:[:ca]Teatre: La sort[:es]Teatro: La sort[:en]Theater: La sort[:]
DESCRIPTION:The sort talks about the experience of its protagonists\, Juli Disla and Jaume Pérez\, as a homoparental and interracial family. DESCRIPTION:The work Viatge d’hivern\, inspired by Franz Schubert’s Winterreise song cycles\, is a journey that Elfriede Jelinek proposes to us through her own experiences\, both artistic and intimate: sexuality mediated by the internet\, the perversion of public opinion \, the cult of youth\, the presence of latent fascism\, the inexorable passage of time\, the love-hate towards her mother\, the dementia and abandonment of her father and the self-criticism of herself as an artist. \nAwarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2004\, the author presents us with a research work where language\, music and movement burst onto the scene like a runaway river\, perverting Schubert\, perverting Jelinek\, dragging us through “the residual waters of our own lives. ” just as she does\, in a piece with dramatic brushstrokes\, a lot of irony and a certain despair.

SUMMARY:[:ca]Teatre: Absències[:es]Teatro: Absències[:en]Theater: Absències[:]
DESCRIPTION:Absències are Father and Camí de silenci\, two dance pieces that can be seen consecutively\, where the common thread is the passage of time\, the loss of a loved one\, the figure of the father and the desire to live. \nFather\, the first piece\, has a lot to do with the premature death of the choreographer’s father\, leaving a generation gap that is impossible to fill. The piece is based on an investigation of textual and choreographic materials that have the father as a reference\, but also the figure of the son and that of the grandfather; in short\, in search of the transcendence of generational roles\, whether they are constructed from absences or presences. Camí de silenci\, the second piece\, was created in 1995\, a few years after the death of his father\, and is presented as it was originally.
