{"id":24861,"date":"2021-12-09T14:01:56","date_gmt":"2021-12-09T13:01:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/poblenouurbandistrict.com\/?p=24861"},"modified":"2021-12-28T12:57:36","modified_gmt":"2021-12-28T11:57:36","slug":"bau-participara-a-la-conferencia-mundial-deducacio-superior","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/poblenouurbandistrict.com\/en\/bau-participara-a-la-conferencia-mundial-deducacio-superior\/","title":{"rendered":"BAU will participate to the World Conference on Higher Education"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A great opportunity for <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.baued.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>BAU Centro Universitario de Dise\u00f1o de Barcelona<\/b><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, \u200b\u200bwhich has been selected as the only university representative in arts and design for the third <\/span><b>World Conference on Higher Education<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event, convened by <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=Unesco&amp;oq=Unesco&amp;aqs=chrome..69i57j46i199i291i433i512j0i433i512j0i512j46i175i199i512j0i512l3j0i3j0i512.1564j0j7&amp;sourceid=chrome&amp;ie=UTF-8#:~:text=enlaces%20de%20sitio-,Unesco,https%3A\/\/es.unesco.org,-%C2%A1La%20diversidad%20de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>UNESCO<\/b><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, will take place in Barcelona from <\/span><b>May 18 to 20, 2022<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and will be under the slogan &#8220;<\/span><b>Reinventing higher education for a sustainable future<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;, which is part of the <\/span><b>United Nations\u2019s<\/b> <b>2030 Agenda<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The objective of the conference will be to debate and reflect on the challenges of education in the upcoming decades, with focuses on topics such as the impact of covid, inclusion, academic mobility, governance, financing, data management and international cooperation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As the only university representative in arts and design, <\/span><b>BAU Centro Universitario de Dise\u00f1o<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will play a prominent role. On the one hand, it will bring researchers, professors and students to the table who will contribute to the debate on the future of higher education. On the other hand, five final degree projects will be presented (from the Degrees in Graphic, Audiovisual, Spaces, Fashion and Transversal), which highlight topics such as: gender and language policies, technology and environment, sustainability and circular economy, generational creativity and culture, and art and feminism.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=GnCpTp4ZAz8&amp;t=3s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>EXOHIVE<\/b><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> project has also been presented, created within the framework of the Master in Audiovisual Innovation and Interactive Environments by alumni <\/span><b>Javi Albo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Heidi Valda<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The interactive and immersive installation, presented at the latest edition of <\/span><b>S\u00f3nar+D<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and during the <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/poblenouurbandistrict.com\/es\/poblenou-open-night\/open-night-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Poblenou Open Night<\/b><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, simulates a conversation with an alien creature.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, in the framework of a conference that took place on November 28 and 29 at the University of Barcelona, <\/span><b>\u200b\u200bCarla Boserman<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, artist and BAU professor, live-drew a series of narratives about the exhibitions. This graphic chronicle will be exhibited at UNESCO&#8217;s Paris headquarters and will be the subject of a joint publication.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A great
