If we take the word “factory” and remove the accent (factory), we transform a building into an action. This is the history of manufacturing in the district of Poblenou in Barcelona: we went from a territory of factories to a plural act of people who manufacture. Its action has maintained the tradition and the industrial character of the history of this place, while achieving progress in its productive, social and educational vocation.<\/span><\/p>\n

From May 5 to June 15, this exhibition-laboratory located in <\/span>Ca l’Alier<\/span><\/a> is the first and only living archive that connects the past, present and future of productive Poblenou. An interactive experience that allows you to experience its transformation and promotes the inclusive and diverse potential of the neighborhood, giving visibility to the craft and manufacturing community that works there.<\/span><\/p>\n

‘Poblenou F\u00e0brica \/ Fabrica’ complements its offer with numerous events, workshops, round tables, outdoor cinema and guided tours in order to offer visitors a variety of practical and theoretical points of view. The conversation will be led by multiple speakers: from artists, architects, activists, politicians and professionals to the neighborhood, student and faculty community alongside manufacturers or makers.<\/span><\/p>\n
