The Social Hub<\/a>, a global hybrid hospitality group, has achieved its first B Corp\u2122 certification, joining a growing community of businesses committed to sustainable and socially responsible practices. By becoming a Certified B Corporation, the company commits to high standards in governance, community engagement, worker welfare, environmental stewardship, and customer service.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

As a B Corp, the hospitality group commits to maintaining a strong balance between purpose and profit, becoming one of only 212 hospitality-certified B Corps worldwide and fewer than 50 in Europe.<\/p>\n

Known for its unique hybrid hubs that blend hotel, student accommodations, coworking spaces, and event venues, The Social Hub<\/a> operates across 18 European locations and is set to expand. With over 10,000 rooms, The Social Hub welcomes millions of guests each year. Now, its certification reflects an unwavering commitment to sustainable impact and community-oriented values.<\/p>\n

The journey to B Corp certification, a process overseen by the nonprofit B Lab, involved a year-long assessment across five critical areas: governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. With a score of 107.1 (benchmarking above the average 94), The Social Hub has committed to concrete goals, including reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 78% and diverting 100% of waste from landfills by 2030.<\/p>\n
