On Saturday, October 4, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dissenyhub.barcelona\/ca\">Disseny Hub Barcelona <\/a> will host the 9th edition of the Urban Talks at Espai A.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2917\" data-end=\"3181\">In this ninth edition, in collaboration with Conexiones Creativas and La Plataforma, the Urban Talks aim to create a space for dialogue between professionals and the public, exploring different perspectives on art, creativity, and their role in Creative Districts.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3183\" data-end=\"3278\">The three talks will be moderated by <strong>Paula Trujillo and Conrado Uribe<\/strong>, directors at \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cccreativas.com\/\">Conexiones Creativas<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4>Panel 1: Art and Territory<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This edition will feature <strong>Mar L\u00f3pez-Pinto and Jordi Solsona<\/strong>, founders of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gargarfestival.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gargar Festival<\/span><\/a>; <strong>Sergi Arbus\u00e0,<\/strong> founder of Penique Productions; <strong>Blanca Haddad<\/strong>, poet and painter; and <strong>Claudia Leit\u00e3o<\/strong>, Secretary of Creative Economy of Brazil. They will discuss how artistic interventions can activate memory, resist homogenization, and negotiate identities in territories, avoiding becoming tools of purely aesthetic urbanism.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4>Panel 2: How to Promote Creative Districts<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Claudia Costa<\/strong>, Creative Director of Poblenou Urban District; <strong>Elisabet Par\u00e9s<\/strong>, founder of Palo Santo; <strong>Felipe Dias<\/strong>, Secretary of Creative Economy of Salvador (Brazil); and<strong> Mar\u00eda Paula Giraldo<\/strong>, from the Creative District of Marinilla (Colombia), will discuss strategies to promote and strengthen creative districts through three case studies. They will explore governance models, the need to establish public-private partnerships, and the development of resilient ecosystems.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4>Panel 3: Gentrification in Creative Districts<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"4255\" data-end=\"4739\"><strong>Maria Teresa Fernandez<\/strong>, Project Lead \u2013 Metadistricts, Universidad Vi\u00f1a del Mar (Chile)\u00a0and <strong>Thiago Pilloni<\/strong>, Manager of Creative Districts and Monitoring, Prefeitura de Salvador (Brazil), will debate whether cultural development can avoid becoming a tool of exclusion.
