Its purpose is to showcase final degree or master\u2019s projects that reflect on materiality, ecology, social or regenerative design, and sustainability.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"277\" data-end=\"454\">The goal is to <strong data-start=\"292\" data-end=\"330\">give visibility to emerging talent<\/strong> in our region and highlight the growing commitment of new generations to responsible design for the future of the planet.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"456\" data-end=\"639\">A jury appointed by the museum selects up to eight projects each year, which are exhibited in two six-month periods within the exhibition <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dissenyhub.barcelona\/es\/exposicion\/matter-matters-disenar-con-el-mundo\"><strong><em data-start=\"594\" data-end=\"636\">Matter Matters. Designing with the world<\/em>.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"641\" data-end=\"758\">On <strong data-start=\"644\" data-end=\"667\">April 28 at 6:30 PM<\/strong>, you can attend the presentation of four new projects in the exhibition\u2019s viewing space:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"760\" data-end=\"2311\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">\n<li data-start=\"760\" data-end=\"1165\"><strong data-start=\"762\" data-end=\"779\">Bot Pollution<\/strong>, by \u00c0ngela Escudero and Carla Olivares (Elisava): A web application that reveals the environmental impact of every interaction with artificial intelligence on a mobile device, displaying its carbon footprint in real time. Through a restrictive and comparative experience, the project encourages reflection on the ecological cost of everyday digital actions and the growing use of AI.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1167\" data-end=\"1511\"><strong data-start=\"1169\" data-end=\"1178\">Caliu<\/strong>, by Judith Aub\u00e0 (IED Barcelona): A modular system made of cork and wood that improves thermal and acoustic insulation in rural homes without invasive renovations. Designed for houses under restoration, it offers a reversible, sustainable, and adaptable solution that enhances comfort and strengthens ties to the local environment.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1513\" data-end=\"1880\"><strong data-start=\"1515\" data-end=\"1525\">Yutori<\/strong>, by Fran Niub\u00f3 (ESDAPC): A shoe inspired by a slower pace of life and designed according to circular economy principles. It features detachable components that facilitate reuse and recycling of materials. Inspired by the Mallorcan <em data-start=\"1757\" data-end=\"1767\">porquera<\/em>, it connects tradition and sustainability to propose a more conscious way of designing and consuming footwear.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1882\" data-end=\"2311\" data-is-last-node=\"\"><strong data-start=\"1884\" data-end=\"1917\">Sobre la m\u00e1quina, una ventada<\/strong>, by Alba Prinz (BAU, University Centre of Design): A project that explores the boundaries between nature and artifice through experiments in which natural elements\u2014such as wind, sun, or heat\u2014directly intervene in design and production processes.
