Through such actions, Sobrer broke with traditional art, brought popular culture to the forefront, and transformed everyday life into an artistic experience, while also establishing himself as a pioneering figure in the development of performance art and conceptual art in Catalonia.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, evoking the nonconformist and groundbreaking spirit of Gon\u00e7al Sobrer, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fundaciovilacasas.com\/ca\/museu\/museu-can-framis-barcelona\">Can Framis Museum<\/a> has organized a performance-based afternoon as part of the exhibition <em>A big failure.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Featuring artistic interventions by\u00a0<strong>Quim Pujol<\/strong>\u00a0(Varietats pel Gon\u00e7al) and\u00a0<strong>Llapispanc\u00a0<\/strong>(No m\u2019agrada passar per la porta principal.)<\/p>\n<p>Date: <strong>Thursday, May 7, 6:30 p.m.<br \/>\n<\/strong>Location: <strong>Can Framis Museum<br \/>\n<\/strong>Duration:<strong> 1 hour<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Free admission with<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fundaciovilacasas.com\/ca\/a\/tarda-performatica-a-lexposicio-un-gran-fracas-de-goncal-sobrer\"> prior registration.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Varietats pel Gon\u00e7al<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Following the model of variety theater, where acts often last only a few minutes,\u00a0Quim Pujol\u00a0proposes a series of short interventions in relation to specific works in Gon\u00e7al Sobrer\u2019s exhibition\u00a0<em>A big failure<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Some of these proposals stem from his own practice and resonate naturally with Sobrer\u2019s work. Other interventions have been designed specifically for\u00a0<em>A big failure<\/em>\u00a0to reflect on xava art, queer processes of identification, the condition of the artist in Catalonia, or experiments that artists hide away in drawers for reasons best left unsaid.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>No m\u2019agrada passar per la porta principal.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Llapispanc draws on a background in performance art, where they seek to break down the barrier with the audience by taking elements from everyday life and using them to create participatory performances.
