{"id":56328,"date":"2026-05-21T12:57:13","date_gmt":"2026-05-21T10:57:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/poblenouurbandistrict.com\/?p=56328"},"modified":"2026-05-21T14:12:23","modified_gmt":"2026-05-21T12:12:23","slug":"parentiu-abans-que-familia-a-lexposicio-destudiants-de-belles-arts-de-bau","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/poblenouurbandistrict.com\/en\/parentiu-abans-que-familia-a-lexposicio-destudiants-de-belles-arts-de-bau\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8221;WE, KIN NOT FAM&#8221;: the BAU Fine Arts Students Exhibition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"68\" data-end=\"258\"><strong><em data-start=\"68\" data-end=\"87\">&#8220;WE, KIN NOT FAM&#8221;<\/em> <\/strong>is the title chosen by second-year <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.baued.es\/ca\">BAU <\/a><\/strong>students curating this exhibition, which embodies new ways of relating to one another and showcases their latest academic projects.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"260\" data-end=\"549\">As every year, second-year students of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baued.es\/estudios\/grados\/grado-en-bellas-artes\">Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Fine Arts<\/a> are organizing and curating their collective exhibition, which explores the resignification of the concept of \u201ckinship.\u201d Titled <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/expo_bellesarts_bau\/\"><em data-start=\"462\" data-end=\"479\">WE, KIN NOT FAM<\/em><\/a>, the exhibition will open on Friday, May 22, at the Granada building.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"551\" data-end=\"1031\">Inspired by the words of <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Donna Haraway<\/span><\/span>, first formulated in 2016 \u2014 \u201cMake kin, not babies\u201d \u2014 the students have worked around the idea of connections that transcend blood relations.
