The opening will take place on <\/span><b>June 25 at 7:00 PM<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, marking the beginning of a project that invites viewers\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to reflect on the concepts of home, belonging, and identity.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Art Nou <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is the emerging art festival of Barcelona and L\u2019Hospitalet that\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">promotes young national and international artistic creation, generating <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">connections between artists, galleries, independent spaces, and cultural <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">institutions. The 2026 edition once again focuses on emerging artistic <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">production and on galleries as spaces for encounter, dialogue, and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">discovery. The program brings together more than fifty exhibitions and over <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">one hundred and ten artists, alongside parallel activities such as guided <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tours, artist talks, performances, screenings, and interventions across <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">different spaces in the city.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>On Saturday, June 27 at 12:00 PM, a guided tour of the exhibition with <\/b><b>Ece Haskan will take place<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, during which the artist will share with the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">audience the concept behind Playhouse, her creative processes, and the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ideas that shape the creation of her works.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An opportunity to engage directly with the artist\u2019s universe and discover the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">narrative layers that are part of the project.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>About the Exhibition\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In <\/span><b><i>Playhouse<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Ece Haskan <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">transforms the idea of \u201chome\u201d into a symbolic\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">space where identities are constructed, roles are performed, and memories <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">are stored. The artist proposes understanding home not only as a physical <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">space, but also as a place where we learn forms of relationships, behaviors, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and ways of belonging.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through the concept of \u201cplaying house,\u201d the exhibition shifts this childhood <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">game into a reflection on family and social structures. The house becomes <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a stage where questions related to safety, belonging, transition, and\u00a0 t<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">emporary living spaces emerge.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project also addresses the experience of migration and the feeling of <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">being constantly in motion, exploring how the spaces we inhabit participate\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in the construction of our identity.
