Can Framis is the latest project of the Fundació Vila Casas, inaugurated in Barcelona in April 2009. It features around 300 works dating from the 1960s to the present day, created by various artists born or residing in Catalonia. The A0 Space at Can Framis hosts temporary exhibitions.
The permanent rooms of the Can Framis Museum in Poblenou present, under the title “Monologue, Dialogue, and Concept,” a look at the painting collections of the Fundació Vila Casas. Through a broad and diverse selection, it showcases notable examples of Catalan painting from the mid-20th century to the present, featuring works by prominent artists such as Antoni Clavé, Amèlia Riera, Niebla, Vilató, Jo Milne, Jordi Fulla, Mar Arza, Mario Pasqualotto, and Sabine Finkenauer.
