The Value of Water. Objects for its management and use | From 03/10/25 to 11/01/26
A free temporary exhibition showcasing pieces from the DHub Design Museum Collection related to the water cycle: from collection and storage to domestic uses related to food or hygiene. The exhibition advocates for a responsible use of this vital resource.
Inspired in Barcelona: Luce | From 07/10/25 to 08/02/26
Coinciding with Barcelona Design Week, DHub hosts this exhibition highlighting the excellence of local designers in the lighting sector. It features a selection of 65 pieces, from self-produced works by established designers to proposals from emerging talent, design schools, and architectural studios.
Colita. Antifémina | From 31/10/25 to 25/01/26
An exhibition of photographs by Isabel Steva Hernández, better known as Colita, taken for a joint project with Maria Aurèlia Capmany. Together, they created in 1977 the first feminist graphic book of Spain’s democratic transition. The publication, controversial at the time, was eventually withdrawn from the market and became a cult classic. Colita’s photographs and Capmany’s texts depict the status of women during that era and raise issues that remain relevant today.
Beyond the exhibition program, DHub will host this autumn a variety of festivals, lectures, courses, workshops, guided tours, and activities for families and schools. These events establish DHub as a hub of thought, a meeting point for the city’s Creative Industries, and a key center in design, innovation, architecture, technology, video games, and audiovisual arts.
Shared Matter | 01/10/25
This continues the series of talks alongside the permanent exhibition Matter Matters. Designing with the World. The first session will take place on October 1st, with Carles Gasol and Joan Rierdevall, authors of the book Circular Economy. The Path to Sustainability, discussing how society can move toward a more sustainable, efficient, and resilient future in terms of resource use.
Brut! | October 2–3, 2025
Brut! returns to DHub with the goal of promoting young talent and creativity. The festival features 11 design schools and 28 projects by students of graphic design and other creative disciplines, giving them a unique opportunity to demonstrate their potential in a highly competitive market.
Urban Talks | October 4
DHub will host a new edition of Urban Talks, organized by Poblenou Urban District. The event will bring together local and international speakers to share their experiences on transforming urban areas through art, and on how to create and foster creative districts.
Barcelona Design Week | October 7–17, 2025
