De los juegos de la niñez by Letícia Costelha at HAUS

De los juegos de la niñez is Letícia Costelha’s solo exhibition at HAUS, the space for art and contemporary practices at BAU, College of Arts and Design in Barcelona. It is the result of five weeks of research by the Portuguese artist through OutResidence, the residency program that brings together BAR Project and Galeria Municipal do Porto.

The exhibition reflects on what it means to feel childlike in adult life. Starting from research on childhood games, playful impulses, and ways to recover that mindset in adulthood, Costelha claims the act of playing as an essential gesture in our lives.

Through interviews and stories about childhood games and their social impact, the artist explores how these experiences resonate in maturity. Inspired by the notion of the playscape in the center of Barcelona, the exhibition brings playful atmospheres into the gallery space, inviting us to rediscover play as a form of encounter, memory, and resistance.

De los juegos de la niñez can be visited until October 16th at HAUS.
