April activities at La Escocesa

This April, La Escocesa becomes a gathering space for artistic exploration, empowerment, and cultural dialogue with a diverse and inspiring program.

Embodied Visions – with Carme Torrent

April 10 – 10 AM to 11 AM

Embodied Visions are sessions designed to awaken the body and stimulate imagination through movement.

How do the images we create emerge? How do we embody inspiration in artistic practice? How do we create a welcoming space to glimpse, move, and embody images?

These sessions propose a morning meeting point to connect with the intensities that traverse, shape, and transform us—potentially materializing into images, sounds, or artistic forms—re-enchanting transitional spaces. At the same time, they cultivate experiences of otherness, fostering spaces of listening and attention, diverse and porous relationships, paradoxical and loving connections that resonate.

Public and free activity with no prior registration required.

Feminist Self-Defense Workshop – Led by Espai Defensa Personal Feminista

April 11 – 5 PM to 8 PM

A feminist self-defense training session approached holistically, where participants will not only learn physical techniques from various martial arts but also explore psychological aspects such as self-esteem, boundaries, prevention, and different communication tools.

This will also be a space to share experiences, if desired, and to express anything needed in a safe and comfortable environment.

Public and free activity with prior registration required through this form.
