With El roure l’aglà, El Pèsol Feréstec once again showcases their talent for combining lyricism with pop freshness. The album takes its title from a verse by Víctor Català, included in a poem set to music by the band, “Filosofia transcendental,” and offers five more songs that blend pop, folk, and rock, featuring the group’s signature poetic and reflective lyrics.

Among these five tracks, you’ll find a Caribbean calypso version of a Pau Riba song, pop hits, a prose piece by Dolors Miquel set to music, and trip-hop fantasies.

El Pèsol returns to their most celebrated formula, with Gerard Segura, Marià Codina, Àlex Todó, Carlota Serrahima, and Maria Callís delivering a mix of pop’s festive and refreshing tone with introspective lyrics that draw from poetry and philosophy to reflect on familiar themes like love, longing, personal doubts, nature, and the human experience.
