Recitals Emergències de Mireia Calafell y Nil Ciuró

Drawing from the poetry collection Si una emergència (Carles Riba Prize 2023) and some poems from her previous books, Mireia Calafell highlights the double meaning of the word “emergency”: it implies an ending, yes, but also a beginning, an opportunity.

Nil Ciuró accompanies the verses, taking them further with melodies and textures that combine melancholy with electronic and experimental rhythms, at times darker, at times brighter.
