Synopsis

Travy is a tribute to the same family Pla-Solina (artistic name “la Família Travy”) and a (des)encounter between two theatrical currents; on the one hand, the clown, folk and popular theater. On the other, post-dramatic and meta-theatrical forms. It exposes two generations and two vital moments; those who already see the end of the road without fear and those who see the beginning of it with panic.

A family that has had theater as a way of being and living. A game between life and theater; lies and truth.

Two old clowns with little grace. Two children lost in themselves, the transgression of art and success. A family of minstrels who understand each other more by putting on masks than by looking each other in the eye. Engaged in creating a show. The latest show?

This show is part of the cycle La família (or la família?), a proposal to reflect on the concept of the family from different perspectives: imaginaries, relationships, vulnerabilities, social structures, the working world, senses, emotions…
