With AR-DE just around the corner, we’re already gearing up for the weekend of 23, 24 and 25 October, when Poblenou will once again become a meeting point for art, design and creativity with the now-iconic circuit organised by Poblenou Urban District.
For three days, with extended opening hours, galleries, museums, creative centres, artists’ studios, concept stores and design projects will open their doors with special proposals for the occasion. Exhibitions, installations, workshops, presentations, open studio days and other activities will form part of a programme that will offer an up-close look at both established projects and new initiatives shaping the Creative District’s scene.
In this 11th edition, spaces representing different disciplines and profiles will take part. Among the museums and exhibition spaces, Fundació Carulla, at Sala Barcelona in Museu Terra, will present Tros de Dona. Meanwhile, DHub (Disseny Hub Barcelona) will bring together various design-related initiatives, including the 29th edition of the Enjoia’t Contemporary Jewellery Awards and the ADG Laus Awards 2026, Disseny en acció, as well as exhibitions from the DHub’s Museu del Disseny collection. Visitors will also be able to explore Can Framis, which is participating in the 48H Open House Barcelona festival.
The circuit will continue through the participating galleries. La Plataforma will present Unfunny Paintings, by Matty Schulz and organise a workshop led by artist and cultural manager Julio Loaiza. Load Gallery will showcase the group exhibition Rituals of Time, while Piramidón, Centre d’Art Contemporani, will host Punto y coma, a solo exhibition by Teresa Camacho, alongside a group exhibition and a vermouth session with a DJ on the terrace. For its part, HAUS, BAU’s Espai d’Art i Pràctiques Contemporànies, will participate with Al principi era el deliri, an exhibition by students exploring the artist’s book, curated by lecturer Alba Font.
The route will also offer the chance to discover studios and creative spaces. Julieta Dentone, Estudio de Cerámica, will inaugurate Nueve mil cuatrocientos treinta y uno and offer open workshops and exhibition visits. Pepa Reverter’s TotCor Showroom will also open its doors for visits to the studio and showroom, accompanied by Pepa Reverter and Marina Salazar, and a TotCor x Miralda x Botanicus cocktail. Finally, at Espai Pere IV, visitors will be able to see an exhibition by Beatriz Mínguez de Molina and Mar Flores.
The circuit also extends to concept stores and design studios. Weplight will offer a workshop visit and present its new collection, Moryarty Vintage Posters will organise a poster sale with a special 2-for-1 promotion on Saturday, Stamina Running will present an exhibition by Studio Milix and organise a live painting session and a workshop with Nolas.Art, Vintage Poblenou will offer an exclusive sale of vintage pieces and FEOS Poblenou will feature a special sale, a guest artist, a tattoo artist, a DJ and drinks to liven up the atmosphere.
AR-DE also invites visitors to take a break and enjoy the wide variety of gastronomic offerings that spaces associated with Poblenou Urban District will be serving throughout the weekend. A food route created especially for the occasion, offering the chance to discover new culinary proposals while continuing to explore the district. The final selection of participating venues will be announced soon.
All this is complemented by the 10th edition of Urban Talks, which will take place on Saturday 24 October at DHub as part of the AR-DE programme. The event will bring together artists, professionals and cultural agents to share ideas and reflect on the transformations of the territory through art, creativity and culture.
Three days to discover, explore and connect with the creativity that brings Poblenou to life.
