Double opening with a vermouth flavor at Piramidón, Centre d’Art Contemporani

Piramidón, Centre d’Art Contemporani, opens two exhibitions next Saturday, May 11, from 11 am. You can see the new group exhibition 2024_n2 with works by its resident artists and the exhibition ‘La bellota se alegra de convertirse en roble‘ by the Aragonese artist Carla Nicolás.

La bellota se alegra de convertirse en roble‘ immerses us in a narrative where women, alchemy, knowledge and nature converge. In her work Carla Nicolás (Zaragoza, 1981) reflects on the impact of female domestic work in capitalism and the persistence of witch-hunting. She also explores the oak tree as a symbol of freedom and historical stability, as well as copper, a metal associated with Venus in astrology, which becomes an essential part of the creative process.

The inauguration will take place next Saturday May 11, from 11h, coinciding with one of its traditional Saturday vermouth, where you can also enjoy some of the best views of Barcelona, a musical DJ for the occasion and the possibility to visit the studios of their resident artists.
