The Disseny Hub Barcelona prepares for a June marked by architecture and design

The Disseny Hub Barcelona (DHub) presents a prominent agenda for June 2026, focused on reflection regarding architecture and design through two free-access proposals.

The conference series ‘Architects’ Designs. Historical and contemporary perspectives from Barcelona’ will take place on June 4, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This activity, organized by the History of Design Foundation and the DHub, is open to the general public, although prior registration is required to participate.

Furthermore, from June 29 to July 2, the center will host the exhibition of member sections of the International Union of Architects (UIA), within the framework of the 2026 World Congress of Architects. The exhibition will bring together professional contributions from around the world that explore how contemporary architecture responds to current social, urban, and environmental challenges.

In addition to the exhibition, the activity will include a program of conferences in the Auditorium (floor 4) and the CSCAE Open Room (floor 0), where topics such as housing, heritage, and cultural sovereignty will be addressed, following the congress motto: ‘Becoming. Architectures for a Planet in Transition’. This proposal is aimed at all audiences.

With these initiatives, the DHub consolidates itself as a key space for the exchange of knowledge and the generation of debate surrounding the architectural profession.
