Poblenou Festa Major: plans to celebrate with our partners

Poblenou is once again coming together to celebrate its Festa Major, an event that highlights popular culture, community spirit and the identity of a neighbourhood in constant transformation. With almost 70 organisations and collectives taking part, the festival reflects the vitality of a community that keeps its traditions alive while embracing new forms of culture and creativity.

This combination of roots and modernity is also one of the defining features of Poblenou: a neighbourhood where industrial heritage coexists with a strong artistic and creative ecosystem.

Poblenou Urban District and its partners are joining the celebrations and helping to expand and connect the neighbourhood’s cultural offering through their own proposals. From gastronomic experiences to creative and musical initiatives, our partners are actively taking part in the celebrations.

Casino L’Aliança is joining the Festa Major del Poblenou with a special programme combining music, culture, tradition and entertainment to enjoy throughout the week. Discover all the activities and check out the full programme.

POBLESOUND 48 is the special programme the studios have prepared to bring together, over ten days, a wide range of artists, collectives and communities from Barcelona’s music scene. Music, listening sessions, art, live sets and different gatherings centred around the city’s music community. Check out its varied music programme, featuring genres ranging from electronic music, such as techno and house, to psychedelia and rock.

Cacho Burger

Cacho Burger is joining the Festa Major with a special promotion available throughout the celebrations: a burger + an Estrella for just €9.90. The perfect option for taking a break, soaking up the festive atmosphere and enjoying a good burger accompanied by a beer.

On Saturday the 12th, the night stretches on as the neighbourhood fills with rhythm thanks to DJ sets by Sol Seri, Nipaa and Nacht Krieger. Cocktails, tapas and music to enjoy a night of celebration.

Stamina Community Run organises running sessions. And after the run, the community always stays around for a while to chat and enjoy a good coffee.

ÀTIM Enginyeria

The ACCEP project (Associació Cultura, Comunitat i Espai Públic), linked to ÀTIM, is organising a community paella on the 19th from 2 pm (prior registration required). The event will continue until 10 pm, turning into a party featuring DJs Sin Sync Open Decks, Phran, T.Modet and c.ru.z. There will also be activities for children.

DHub

These days, at DHub you can visit exhibitions from the Museum’s collection as well as a temporary exhibition featuring the finalists of the FAD Awards for Architecture and Interior Design at the CUB space. In addition, guided tours of the collection exhibitions are available on Saturday with admission.

Fundació Palo Alto

At Fundació Palo Alto, Ex Machina opens on 15 September. The exhibition explores how an everyday object such as the electric shaver reflects the technological, social and cultural changes of each era, highlighting the role of design and creativity in addressing the challenges of the present.
