Fab Lab Barcelona explores new forms of cultural production rooted in local territories

From Thursday, October 29 to Saturday, October 31, Fab Lab Barcelona presents Productive Territories · Territories in Transition · Territories in Action, an exhibition and public programme taking place at Fab Lab Barcelona (IAAC).

The exhibition opens this afternoon at 5:00 pm. Over three days, IAAC will open its doors to the public, offering a series of experiences that connect culture, local production, technology, and art. The initiative aims to highlight local knowledge, intergenerational exchange, and collective practices.

This gathering continues Ensemble, an event launched a year ago in collaboration with Produint (en) Comú / Making (in) Commons. The initiative is part of a network connecting more than thirty creative and productive spaces across the Barcelona metropolitan area to share resources, knowledge, and collective capacity for action.

One year later, around twenty projects developed across different autonomous communities in Spain come together to showcase processes, prototypes, materials, tools, and stories, exploring new forms of cultural production rooted in local territories.

Alongside the exhibition, the programme includes talks, roundtable discussions, screenings, and hands-on workshops.
