“Please, Have a Seat!”: A New Way to Experience Design at the DHub

The Museu del Disseny-DHub has opened an innovative space within the exhibition Common Objects. Local Stories, Global Debates with a surprising proposal: visitors can sit and interact with reissued historic design pieces that are part of its collection. Titled Please, Have a Seat!, this installation offers a unique immersive experience inviting people to discover the comfort, ergonomics, and materials of design icons such as the BKF chair, the Toledo chair, or the Catalano bench.

Òh!pera Returns to the DHub with Three Nights of Contemporary Opera and Emerging Design

From July 25 to 27, the Gran Teatre del Liceu and Disseny Hub Barcelona join forces to present a new edition of Òh!pera, an innovative project that champions contemporary opera and young creativity. Over three unique evenings, the public will enjoy the premiere of three newly created micro-operas.

The DHub Explores the Role of Design in the Chilean Revolution with a Unique Exhibition

Until November 16, Disseny Hub Barcelona hosts How to Design a Revolution: The Chilean Way to Design, an exhibition that examines the fundamental role design played in Salvador Allende’s political project in Chile between 1970 and 1973.

“Cacao”: Design and Sustainability from Chocolate Industry Waste

Until July 31, Disseny Hub Barcelona presents Cacao, an exhibition organized by MATERFAD that invites visitors to rethink chocolate industry waste as a resource for sustainable innovation.
