Open call for Fundació Carulla’s Francesc Candel Award

Diverse culture for a shared future

At the Fundació Carulla, they understand culture as a engine for social transformation and the collective building of the country. That is why they promote initiatives that contribute to a plural, contextualized, and evolving Catalan culture, capable of incorporating new perspectives, experiences, and ways of creating.

They have now launched a new call for the Francesc Candel Award to boost cultural projects that turn diversity into a space for meeting and transformation.

They are looking for initiatives that, through the arts and culture, promote the participation of migrant people, build community and social cohesion, and drive the use of Catalan as a shared language. Projects in community creation, artistic and cultural mediation, cultural management, or hybrid proposals can be submitted. Catalan must be part of the project as a language for interaction, creation, and shared construction. The winning project will receive a €15,000 grant.
