Mother’s Love reflects on the contexts in which human beings have made perverse use of light. On modern farms, something as sacred as maternal warmth has been taken away from animals and replaced with infrared lights that accelerate their natural growth, raising clear ethical questions about the artificial manipulation of life cycles.

This idea is materialized through a series of sculptural fish of different sizes and suspended in the air that move in synchrony with LED lights, offering an immersive experience to visitors.

The work is generated by the quadrangular arrangement of the walls of the room where 44 spotlights, four lasers and four audio columns create an audiovisual choreography. Each beam of light, when colliding with the walls, not only illuminates, but also weaves a conceptual framework.
